I really enjoyed the time in this property. The rooms were compact and equipped with incredible stand alone bath and a special personal touch plus easy access to the garden for the dog. The service was great. I could park the car on site.

The units are fashionable, huge with a bath, the fan, as example.

quiet location until breakfast......
If there's a business conference on, which is it's primary purpose it seems, you are unlikely to get breakfast in peace. The hotel staff offered, after a bit of time, to seat us in the bar or at a table with the 'delegates' ! Not a pleasant experience and would avoid this hotel again just on this one visit.

We were a bit apprehensive on arrival that it was a corporate hotel but our room was lovely with a massive bathroom. It felt quite luxurious and was a turned out to be a really nice hotel that we were very please with. The grounds are beautiful and the area was lovely.

I only have time for three questions - it was lovely to arrive having walked along the North Downs Way from Farnham

The location, the gardens were very well kept and the stuff friendly
The reception gave us a very small room with small windows at first. Considering that we had a buggy and a small toddler this seemed very uncomfortable. Later on though after some discussion they managed to find a more comfortable room.

The location and grounds are superb, the hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms (annex cottages) are very quaint and in keeping with the style and ambiance of the surroundings. Sitting in the garden on a summers evening with a beer from the bar, there wasnt a sound to be heard apart from birds. Considering its just 5 miles from Guildford this was amazing.
The road leading up to the hotel is extremely narrow and not lit, beware especially at night for vehicles coming in the opposite direction! - To be expected in such a wonderful off the beaten track location though.

Barnett hill is set in lovely grounds with plenty of space. The comfy beds in our splendid suite made for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, where the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. Loved the spa treatments offered in the sunday night spa break!
the breakfast service could be improved to handle busier periods.

The view from our bedroom was absolutely beautiful and the grounds were spotlessly clean and beautifully kept. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our evening meal was excellent, as was the service.

The setting of the hotel was spectacular.
The quality of the rooms were very poor, small, hot and unable to open the window as I was on the ground floor and no safety catches on the windows. A very poor night sleep.
